Autoimmune CKD Remission and improving Kidney Function

Autoimmune CKD Remission and improving Kidney Function

Declining of Kidney function due to IgA nephropathy and other autoimmune diseases can be stopped, put into remission and kidney function can be improved through my innovative non-toxic enzyme therapy and diet, based on my research. In This article, I will be sharing my experience in treating may CKD patients due to auto-immune, the real cause: Viral infections, and my non-toxic treatment for CKD due to various auto-immune Diseases.

As I am doing well in stopping the progression and improving kidney function among Early-stage CKD patients due to Long-term Diabetes and high blood pressure,  I started getting calls from patients with CKD due to various auto-immune diseases like IgA Nephropathy, Membranous Nephropathy, Lupus, etc. One patient, Ritika, contacted me to get treatment for her IgA Nephropathy. She was 28 yr old and when she got diagnosed, her creatinine was 2.6 with very high blood pressure. She started taking medicines given by doctors for IgA and also for high blood pressure. Slowly every month her creatinine level increased to 3.2. She decided to get treated at my clinic for 4 weeks and was able to bring down creatinine to 2.59 in three weeks. She went back to Chhattisgarh to continue the protocol. She got a fever after reaching there while traveling and her creatinine got increased to 2.8. Then I told her to continue my protocol. After two weeks, her creatinine came down to 2.4. Now her creatinine is oscillating between 1.5. Now I am convinced that my protocol really works for those whose creatinine is less than 4 and good urine output. You can watch her testimonials below.

Another patient’s parents contacted me for their son, Mr. Tarun, age 21, suffering from IgA nephropathy. His creatinine was 1.7 and decided to get treated at an early stage and took 3 weeks of treatment. We are able to bring it down to 1.5. His protein leak was completely nil and no microscopic blood cells, which is the main symptom of IgA.

The Real Cause of CKD due to auto-immune

By going through the following excerpts from research papers you can understand Viral infection’s role.

IgA Nephropathy: Pleiotropic impact of Epstein-Barr virus infection on immunopathogenesis and racial incidence of the disease

In analyses of sera and cells from White IgAN patients, healthy controls, and African Americans, IgAN patients exhibited substantial enrichment for IgA-expressing B cells infected with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), leading to enhanced production of poorly galactosylated IgA1.

Systemic Epstein-Barr virus infection associated with membranous nephropathy in children

Nephrotic syndrome developed at initial presentation and was associated with MN on biopsy. The patient cleared the virus from blood, which was associated with eventual resolution of the MN

Epstein-Barr Virus and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Many studies have revealed a connection between SLE and EBV infection. Essentially all adult SLE patients are infected with EBV (99.5%) [24]. However, the statistical significance of this finding is reduced by the large proportion of healthy adults infected as well (95%).

Acute Epstein–Barr virus infection-associated collapsing glomerulopathy

A 21-year-old woman presenting with acute Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) infection (infectious mononucleosis) was noted to have renal involvement. She had proteinuria, leukocyturia and microscopic hematuria, and 10 days after admission became nephrotic (23 g of protein per g of creatinine). Renal biopsy revealed glomerular tuft collapse, visceral epithelial cell proliferation and vacuolization consistent with collapsing glomerulopathy. She had only transient deterioration in renal function, attributed to contrast nephropathy, but after recovery remained proteinuric.

Infection-Related Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis in Children

In adults, the most established FSGS causing virus is the human immune-deficiency virus, which is related to a collapsing variant of FSGS. Nevertheless, other viruses are also suspected for causing a collapsing or noncollapsing variant, for example, hepatitis B virus, parvovirus B19, and Cytomegalovirus.

Viruses and collapsing glomerulopathy: a brief critical review

Case reports and small-case series link infection with these common viruses and glomerular injury. The evidence for a pathogenic role is generally stronger for glomerulonephritis than for collapsing glomerulopathy

How My Non-toxic Treatment Works

In modern medicine all chronic diseases are treatable. I believe all chronic diseases can be reversible or put into remission by understanding the real problem at the molecular level. Genes can be turned on and Off by Diet and Lifestyle. This is my 14 years of experience in learning proven scientific non-toxic therapies using diet, Lifestyle, Nutrition, and plain herbs.

I have a small farmhouse, in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, which I call a Lifestyle center. My passion was healing incurable diseases. I am good at finding the pathophysiology of diseases and finding solutions by treating the root cause.

I am getting good results in stopping and reversing chronic kidney diseases caused by diabetes and high blood pressure. People with auto-immune diseases like IgA, IgG, IgM, IgE, lupus, etc…. started contacting me for treatment. Slowly I started studying research papers about these diseases and got convinced that this deadly disease can be handled using advanced enzyme therapy, plain herbs (non-ayurvedic), clinically proven diet, and Nutrition.

There are herbs that suppress the malfunctioning immune system and there are clinically proven herbs that are anti-viral and modulate the immune system to fight against viruses and lead to remission of CKD. Enzymes help in healing the damaged nephrons.

For example, in IgA nephropathy, a higher level of galactose deficient, defective IGA antibody called IgAN is produced.  IgA is triggered due to infection in the lungs, digestive tract, and tonsils in IgAN patients. The IgG antibodies consider the IgAN as a foreign body and bound to the galactose-deficient sugar side chain of the IgAN and form an antibody complex, which gets accumulated in the kidney and damages the nephrons.

I have studied enzyme therapies very deeply. There are specific enzymes good for dissolving immune complexes. Various Enzymes  help in healing nephrons, dissolving viruses and immune complexes, and dissolves viruses and fibrins. Also, enzymes that dissolves biofilms of drug-resistant bacterial infections which trigger IgA production. Once the infections are cleared, there is the possibility of IgAN remission or a low level of IgAN production. In either case, taking a maintenance dose of enzymes that dissolve the immune complex life which causes no side effects is safe for preventing relapse, as per my current understanding.

My protocol helps those who have good urine output. Once a nephron is dead, it is dead, rejuvenating new nephrons is rare. One can heal the damaged nephrons and prevent further damaging nephrons through my therapy. Depending on, how good is the kidney, diet and therapy varies.   The earlier you start the treatment, creatinine, and urea can be reduced, and can live a normal life, life long.

How to Check Your Kidney Treatment Works or not

How to Check Your Kidney Treatment Works or not

I have helped many kidney failure patients whose creatinine is less than 6 and more than 1-liter urine output, to bring down their creatinine level, and improved their urine output, and kidney functions through diet and nutrition. In a few cases, I have brought down their creatinine levels from 8 to 1.8.  I have shared their testimonials at the end of this article.

If the suggestions given in this article are followed, one may not end up in dialysis. Many are trying some kind of alternative treatment that is not effective. To check whether the treatment works or not, you need to check the following Factors.

1. Monitor your weight every day

If weight is constantly increasing, it means,  urine output is getting low and increases fluid accumulation in the body. Once the fluid gets accumulated in most of the body parts, then it starts getting into the lungs and develops breathing difficulty. So if you check your weight every day and notice that your weight is increasing constantly, then you have to take the right steps to improve your kidney function.

2. Do Blood Tests every two weeks

The Important blood test that one can do by self in any nearby good Medical Lab are:

1. RFT (Renal function or Kidney Function Test)

RFT Provide Creatinine, Urea, Uric acid, and other things, which help in understanding your kidney function.

If Creatinine, Urea, and Uric acid increases, it means your kidney function is declining.

Why Creatinine is important? Creatinine can be expelled only by the kidneys. It is a non-toxic molecule produced by muscles after burning creatine energy molecules to release energy. Urea, Uric acid, and other toxins are toxic to our entire body and accelerate the progression of kidney failure.

2. Haemoglobin

Have an eye on hemoglobin level. There is a hormone called, Erythropoietin (EPO) is a glycoprotein hormone, naturally produced by the peritubular cells of the kidney, that stimulates red blood cell production in bone marrows. If Hemoglobin is getting reduced, it means, Kidney function is declining.

The doctor will prescribe an Erythropoietin injection to increase your Haemoglobin level weekly once or twice, or once in two weeks depending on your condition.

In my treatment protocol, many of the patient’s Haemoglobin got increased without Erythropoietin injection.

3. Phosphorus

When you have chronic kidney disease (CKD), your kidneys cannot remove phosphorus very well. High phosphorus levels can cause damage to your body. Extra phosphorus causes body changes that pull calcium out of your bones, making them weak. One symptom is itchy skin. There is Treatment available to reduce phosphorus.

4. Check Electrolytes in the blood

Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, and Bicarbonate need to be at a normal level.

Sodium (135 – 145 mEq/L):

If sodium level drops, below the normal range then the person may get the following symptoms: Loss of energy, drowsiness, fatigue, no strength to stand and walk in balance, Hiccups, Nausea, Muscle weakness, and muscle cramps.

There are many who go for a completely sodium-free (Salt-free) diet. It’s wrong. Low Sodium (less salt) diet needs to be followed. Hence, Low Sodium (less salt) diet needs to be followed.

Potassium (3.6 to 5.2 mmol/L)

A low potassium level can make muscles feel weak, cramp, twitch, or even become paralyzed, and abnormal heart rhythms may develop. Similarly But too much potassium in your blood can damage your heart and cause a heart attack.

Kidney patients need to have low-potassium fruits and should leach potassium from vegetables by boiling and draining the water.

Chloride (96 to 106 mEq/L)

Low levels of Chloride may lead to Heart failure. Whereas high chloride may cause excessive fatigue, muscle weakness, breathing problems, and increased high blood pressure.

Bicarbonate (22-29 mEq/L)

It is a base, that the body needs to help keep a normal acid-base (pH) balance. This balance prevents your body from becoming too acidic, which can cause many health problems. It is produced by the kidney. If low, you need to take a Sodium bicarbonate supplement. If you take sodium bicarbonate with food, it will neutralize the hydrochloric acid produced by the stomach and affects the digestion process. It’s good to take 2 to 3 hrs after food.

3. Urine analysis

In this test, one can find out how much protein getting leaked in the urine. If someone is long-term diabetes or high blood pressure, and if they observe too much foam in the urine, it’s an indication that the kidney is getting affected. Many patients lose weight because of this issue. Protein leak leads to the loss of albumin and other proteins in the urine from the body. These proteins help fluid stay within the blood vessels. Without them, fluid leaks into the nearby tissue causing swelling in the legs and other parts of the body. You need to take albumin supplements or egg whites appropriately to meet the loss of albumin.

Chronic Kidney disease can be partially reversed (improving kidney function 20 to 50%) and one can prevent further declain in kidney function by Clinically proven diet and Nutritional medicine based on my experience in treating many CKD patients at my retreat center.  It is caused by Chronically Failed Wound Healing in the kidney tissues. Diabetes, High blood pressure, and auto-immune diseases like IgA Nephropathy, SLE, etc. cause chronic injury to the nephrons in the kidneys. Chronic Failed Wound Healing causes glomerulosclerosis and tubulointerstitial fibrosis in the kidneys. Eventually leads to loss of kidney function and shrinking of the kidneys.

How to Reverse?

Early- end-stage Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients can live a healthy long normal life by stopping the progression and reversing it to 30% to 50% of the kidney function if the patient passes more than 1000 ml of urine output and creatinine level less than of 6.0, through diet and natural medicine. The more good is urine output, the more kidney function can be improved. As urine output decreases gradually, the hope of stopping the progression and reversing kidney failure gets difficult.

To stop or slow down the progression of Kidney Disease, a very low plant-based protein diet is crucial. Our body can store glucose and fat, but not protein. 50 grams of protein is more than enough for a person who weighs 50 kg. The excess protein intake will be excreted by the kidneys. Hence most people are hurting their kidneys daily by believing high protein is good for their health and consuming it more.  Animal protein intake causes more uremic toxins and fastens the progression of the disease.

Proven Phytochemicals available in the kitchen are good enough to stop fibrosis in the kidneys. To stop the Progression, the diet should not over-tax the kidney. Depending on the kidney function level, diet needs to be taken. Glomerulosclerosis can be reversed to an extent by Kidney Friendly Plant-based diet.

Another problem is High Uremic toxins in the body. The toxins in blood also need to be expelled from the body to prevent the progression of the diseases and harm the entire body through toxin adsorbents.

Another important strategy is treating the root cause. Kidney Friendly Plant-based Diet and other Proven Remedies for Diabetes and High blood pressure are a must. There are non-toxic proven remedies that help in auto-immune diseases.

The glomerular filtration rate (GFR) shows how well the kidneys are filtering. Based on the GFR value calculated during the Renal Function blood test, a CKD patient’s stage is determined.

Through our Natural Medicine and Diet, One can reverse from stage 5 to stage 4 in 2 to 3 months. If on Stage 4, can reverse to Stage 3.  If on stage 3, can reverse to stage 2 in two to 3 months. If on stage 2 or stage 1, can reverse completely in 3 months.

In one year, one can bring down creatinine level from 8 to 1.8, sounds amazing right? This is what I have experienced in a few of my patients. Most patients are able to bring down their creatinine level from 6 or 7 to 3 in 4 to 6 weeks. They are able to bring down more by following my diet and nutrition protocol lifelong.  For some patients, we get very little improvement in kidney function. The reason is how much damage is taken inside the kidney over many days. Depending on how early one takes the right step to stop the progression of kidney failure, longer kidney function can be attained.

Modern medicine says CKD can be slowed down, and it’s progressive. Truth is, It can be stopped and reversed to 30 % to 50%, and maintain a healthy normal life, lifelong by following my protocol with clinically proven kidney-friendly plant-based diet and lifestyle. Even though it cannot be reversed completely.  I am a Nutritionist. I am helping those who are suffering from chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Cancer, Arthritis, Kidney disease, etc. through clinically proven and evidence-based Diets and Natural Remedies. I treat CKD patients at my  Retreat Center, in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India every month. It’s a live-in treatment program. Based on my experience, those who have good urine output (more than 1 liter) and creatinine level of less than 6.0 can live a healthy long normal life by stopping the progression and reversing up to 30% to 50%, depending on their present condition.  They are able to live a healthy normal life, lifelong. Before one’s urine output gets reduced gradually and increases in creatinine and urea levels, one should start working on reversing kidney failure naturally. In this article, I am sharing the principles, I use to reverse Kidney failure which is based on many clinically proven research across the world and evidence-based.

In One Research, “Role of nutrition in the prevention of the progression of renal disease. Annu Rev Nutr. 1997;17:435-55”, the important point mentioned is  ‘In many cases, this is a diet that will keep them from ever having to be on Dia**sis1’. One of my patients, Mr. Baskar, age 36, whose creatinine went up to 8.0 was able to bring it down to 1.8. Now He is living a healthy normal life for more than 8 years. Many other clients had similar results and their testimonial videos are given at the end of this article.

How does the Kidney start to fail?

CKD is a silent chronic disease. Most get diagnosed after 80% to 90 % of both kidneys fail, over a few years. You must know how the kidney fails slowly.

Each Kidney Contains around 10 lakh (1 million) nephrons. Each nephron is a network of small blood vessels, called the glomerulus. They are capillaries that filter around 200 liters of blood each day around the clock. They are thinner than hair.

“Regardless of the cause (Diabetes / High Blood Pressure / Auto-immune Diseases / Gout / etc.), chronic kidney disease is characterized by glomerulosclerosis and tubulointerstitial fibrosis”

Reference:

Pathophysiology and Classification of Kidney Diseases
EJIFCC. 2009 Apr; 20(1): 2–11.
Published online 2009 Apr 20.

Now the question is, What are Glomerulosclerosis and Tubulointerstitial Fibrosis?

They are stiffening in Glomerulus and scar tissue formation in the nephrons.

Again, the question is,  what causes these two problems?

In the same research, it says, It is caused by Chronically failed wound healing in the kidney tissues. Diabetes, High blood pressure, and auto-immune diseases like IgA Nephropathy, SLE, etc. cause chronic injury to the nephrons in the kidneys. I hope now you understood the cause of Chronic kidney failure.

The kidney starts failing slowly by fibrosis in micro-vascular capillaries like nephrons. This causes the shrinking of kidneys eventually.

Natural Ways to Reverse Kidney Failure

1. Uremic Detox

In most cases, once kidney failure is diagnosed, the kidney will have 30% – 10% kidney function. At this time, there will be more uremic toxins in the blood. These toxins will accelerate kidney failure. I found out how a modern treatment works and how it removes toxins from the blood. It can be done similarly through oral detox methods using non-toxic FDA-approved remedies. Our digestive tract contains more surface area, when oral detox adsorbents pass through the digestive tract, the toxins are absorbed and expelled in stools.

2. Nutritional Medicine

The next problem is stopping the scar formations and healing the healable nephrons to improve kidney function. For that, we use proven nutritional medicines. It helps in stopping and dissolving the scars. Without this strategy, one cannot stop the progression of CKD.

3. The Role of Diet

Diet is crucial for reversing kidney failure and preserving kidney function lifelong. We recommend a kidney-friendly plant-based diet. A Diet low in potassium, sodium, and phosphorus is very important. As I mentioned earlier, a low-protein diet is important too. There are many who go for a completely sodium-free diet. It’s wrong, if sodium level goes below than normal level, it will lead to a lack of balance and coordination in walking, feeling weak, hiccups, and many other complications. A low Sodium (less salt) diet needs to be followed. Hence, a Low Sodium (less salt) diet needs to be followed.
