First, Why You Need to Reverse Diabetes?
for that you need to understand, how Diabetes Damages Every Organ in Your body?
When glucose level is high in blood, it causes wounds in the inner layer of the blood vessels all over the body.

1. High Sugar in Blood = Sticky Blood
When you have diabetes, your blood sugar (glucose) stays high.
👉 Too much sugar in the blood makes it sticky.
2. Sugar Damages Blood Vessels
That sticky sugar damages the inside walls of your arteries — like scratching the inside of a pipe.
👉 The damaged walls become rough and unhealthy.
3. Cholesterol Sticks to Damaged Areas
Your body sends cholesterol and fat to “repair” the damage.
👉 But instead, this fat and cholesterol stick to the walls and build up into plaque — like gunk in a dirty pipe.
4. Arteries Become Narrow and Hard
Over time, this buildup becomes bigger and harder.
👉 The arteries become narrow, stiff, and blocked — this is arteriosclerosis.
5. Blood Flow is Blocked
Because the artery is clogged, blood can’t flow freely.
👉 This can cause a heart attack, stroke, or foot wounds that don’t heal.
❤️🔥 Why It’s Dangerous for Diabetics:
Diabetes causes more damage to arteries than in non-diabetics.
Diabetics often have high blood pressure and high cholesterol too, which speeds up artery damage.
Diabetes Will damage the blood vessels in your Eyes

Diabetes will Damage the Blood vessels in your kidneys

Kidney is the organ full of Blood Vessels

Prevalence: Approximately 1 in 3 adults with diabetes has CKD.
Type 2 Diabetes: New cases of CKD in people with type 2 diabetes increased by 74% between 1990 and 2017.
How Diabetes Damages the blood vessels in the Heart

Approximately 50-80% of type 2 diabetics develop hypertension

Approximately 28% of stroke patients have diabetes

High blood sugar levels over time damage blood vessels that nourish nerves, leading to nerve dysfunction and various symptoms.
Poor blood flow can lead to serious complications, in all the major organs like kidney, legs, eyes, heart etc.

In fact, your are sitting under a bomb that can explode any time.
The Good News is, Not Just Diabetes, Recent studies has proven that Complications of Diabetes are Reversible.
So You Can Feel energetic again, reduce or eliminate insulin dependence, and reclaim your health—without crash diets or medications. Even if you are Diabetic for more than 15 years!

If you want to Prevent or Reverse Type 2 Diabetes, you must have a clear understanding of what Insulin Resistance means. Many think Type 2 Diabetes is a lack of insulin. It’s a partial truth. First, a person gets Insulin Resistance, then the pancreas makes more insulin to maintain the normal glucose levels in the body, and then it slowly loses the ability to produce insulin as the days pass by slowly. This is the Problem with Diabetes. You should know what causes insulin resistance. No matter how much Insulin one takes daily if this is not fixed Diabetes will get worse. I have seen some Diabetic patients take insulin, but the glucose level did not come down. It’s due to Insulin resistance. Many believe that glucose is the culprit of Diabetes. Interestingly it’s fat.
In the year 1927, Dr. Sweeny, M.D. from the US conducted novel research on a group of young healthy medical students. They were used to study the effect of different preceding diets. The students on the fat diet were given only olive oil butter, mayonnaise made with egg yolk, and 20 percent cream for two days. A glucose tolerance test was conducted after that and you can see the result in the below picture.

The next 2 Days of Carbohydrate Diet were given. Then the glucose tolerance test is conducted. You can see the results in the below picture.

Dr. Sweeny was discern that fat is playing a decisive role in glucose utilization in cell function. After many years, in 2014, a research paper titled ‘Free Fatty Acids and Muscle Insulin Resistance’ was published in ‘Progress in Molecular Biology and Translational Science, Volume 121’. It says Insulin resistance is now accepted to be closely associated with lipid accumulation inside the muscle cells. Hence, It is scientifically proven that insulin resistance is caused by a high-fat diet.

To understand how Insulin works, you have to imagine insulin as a door key that unlocks the door. If the door lock functions well, then using insulin, the door can be unlocked and glucose can get in. In the case of insulin resistance, it is like gum is blocking the lock keyhole and then insulin is not able to work.

Now, many who are on Insulin for years are able to get reversed out of Type 2 Diabetes through Diet and Lifestyle. The Only Solution to Insulin Resistance Problem is a Whole Plant-based Diet. Fiber-rich diet and phytochemicals in plant-based food flush out the unhealthy fat in the body and increase insulin sensitivity. A Whole Plant-based diet not only prevents Type 2 Diabetes but also helps Reverse Type 2 Diabetes. One cannot come out of Diabetes without fixing this Insulin Resistance. Once Insulin Resistance is developed, Pancreas starts secreting more insulin. At this stage, glucose levels will be right. But the pancreas slowly loses the ability to secrete insulin over the days. Then the person becomes Diabetic. There are a few other Causes of Type 2 Diabetes and I will share them soon.
